Yes. EV Share's Standard 60-Month Plan is designed for condo and apartment residents where a panel upgrade is not required. We work with your HOA or property manager to facilitate approval and installation.
Do I need HOA approval for condo EV charging?
In most cases, yes. Many states have "right to charge" laws that limit an HOA's ability to deny EV charging requests. EV Share can provide documentation to support your HOA approval request.
What if my condo building does not have available electrical capacity?
Our electrician will assess your building's electrical infrastructure during the site visit. If capacity is limited, we will discuss options including shared charging solutions or commercial charging programs for the building.
Is there an upfront cost for condo EV charging installation?
No. The Standard 60-Month Plan requires $0 upfront. The charger, installation, permits, and warranty are all included in your $75/month subscription.

How is electricity usage tracked for condo EV charging?
Your Level 2 charger is installed on a dedicated circuit metered to your unit. You pay for electricity through your normal utility bill — just like any other appliance in your home.
